GLOBAL guarantees that any stainless steel product that it sells to be free from defects in material, construction or workmanship under normal use and following the care instructions.

This excludes damage caused by misuse or accident. The warranty extends only to the product’ s original purchaser. Chips in the knife’ s blade, broken knife tips, discoloration from food and rust spots are not covered. Knife chips and broken knife tips can often be repaired by re-sharpening.

The following are excluded from the warranty:

• Damage caused from misuse, improper use or accidents

• Misuse by cutting hard substances such as frozen foods, bones, hard nuts, hard cheese etc.

• Improper use by using a knife as a screwdriver, can or bottle opener, etc.

• Accidently dropping a knife on the floor or hitting against other hard surfaces.

• Rust and discoloration stemming from inadequate after care.

• Improper washing and cleaning e.g. dishwashing, drip-drying.

• Excessive exposure to acidic substances or damp conditions.

In case of any such fault, the purchaser should contact whoever they bought the product from, with proof of purchase.

GLOBAL reserves the right to determine if the product has been used in a manner that would violate the warranty.
